front cover of the 3rd issue of Manila Skies magazine
Spirit of Manila Airlines is a new budget airline currently operating at the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport that serves the following destinations as of January 2010 according to wikipedia: Bahrain, Kuwait, Macau and Taiwan.
Its official inflight magazine is called Manila Skies. An associate editor of Manila Skies contacted me if I want to contribute an article for the 3rd issue of their magazine. It would be my first time writing an article for a publication so accepted the offer in a jiffy. You may click THIS to read the full article I wrote about the Damnoen Saduak floating market near Bangkok, Thailand.
None of my friends knew about this airline and I can't blame them because I never saw even a newspaper advertisement. I just hope that Spirit of Manila Airlines would prosper just like the leading national budget carrier Cebu Pacific.
